Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the flagship of Walt Disney World Resorts. The resort rests between Disney's Magic Kingdom and Disney's Polynesian Resort. The resort retains the old grand Victorian theme as seen on the Florida coast in the 19th century. Featuring spacious verandas, wicker rockers, latticework and red shingled roofs, even the monorail is designed to resemble a Victorian train station. The resorts lobby is five stories in height with lavish stained glass domes, chandeliers, an aviary, palm trees and a grand piano providing live music, just some aspects of the resort which provides an elegant and charming welcome to all holiday makers. The Grand Floridian Resort has plenty of activities and amenities to offer, one on the most impressive is the Monorail, perfect for Disney's Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
